Norfolk Fire Division Hazmat Team

The Norfolk Fire Division was invited by the State of Nebraska to serve as an MOU (Memo of Understanding) Hazmat Team.  We are one of 10 of these types of teams.  We serve the Northeast Nebraska area and will respond as requested.  The team is supported by the State of Nebraska by a State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) grant that is requested annually).

 Every year in August, we host a Hazmat Technician Refresher Course and an 80-hour Hazmat Technician Certification Course at our training facility. The Nebraska State Fire Marshal’s Office Training Division provides instruction for these courses.
