Design Computer

The Design Computer allows users who are certified on any of the MakerSpace equipment to have a dedicated space to work on the digital creation of their designs without using any of the machines.  The Design Computer has CorelDraw, Pallette 11 (for the Embroidery Machine), and can access design websites like TinkerCad and Thingaverse.

Users of the Design Computer must be at least 12 years old and must have completed a certification course on the Embroidery Machine, Laser Cutter, or 3D Printer in order to use the Design Computer outside of a supervised class.

Once your certification is complete:

  • Make reservations for the Design Computer at https://norfolk-ne.libcal.com/reserve/makerspace.
  • There is no cost to use the Design Computer.
  • Users should bring their own USB drive to save any designs they work on. The library sells 8GB USB Drives for $5+tax if needed.
